“The topic, ‘Re-Frame the Narrative,’ encourages reflection about who, what and how we are teaching about our site. Are we teaching the inclusive, accurate, and honest history of racial, social, and environmental conflict in our region? Are we incorporating the stories of BIPOC in educational programs and materials? It is important to not shy away from difficult topics, but rather present them with empathy for those affected. In this event, we’ll explore how we can use music to creatively Re-Frame the Narrative in environmental education.”
