During this session participants will engage in facilitated discussion and reflection to generate a list of specific projects that promote and implement environmental education in schools and non-formal settings in NYC and its immediate region.
Ongoing Forum Projects Include:
- A Syllabi Bank of Teacher Preparation Courses in Environmental Education (EE)
- Installation of Weather Stations in Schools
- A Database of EE Professional Learning Opportunities for Educators in NYC

What is the Environmental Education Projects Forum?
The Forum is a network of formal and informal environmental educators, university faculty, government agency representatives and environmental professionals working to create specific projects that promote and implement environmental education in schools and non-formal settings in NYC and its immediate region. All projects are based on strategies developed at Forum workshops and meetings.
