| description: | A SPRING FIELDTRIP FOR TEACHERS AND OTHERS TO EXPLORE THE SALT MARSH AND OBSERVE THE ANNUAL HORSESHOE CRAB MATING.
Dress casually. Old sneakers are recommended. You will be walking approximately 3/4 mile round trip. Limited facilities at site. Directions: Plumb Beach is located along the eastbound Belt Parkway between Knapp Street and Flatbush Ave. Bus transportation is available on Knapp Street. You can also walk the bike path from Knapp Street or Flatbush Avenues. We will meet in the parking area in front of the round building. |
