| description: | The event will feature environmental science, food system, and social justice educators sharing lessons learned, challenges & opportunities. The mission of the event is to inspire teachers to implement more of this teaching and curriculum in their classrooms. Some of the presenters that we are inviting include educators from BK Farmyards, Just Food, The Libertad Urban Farm, The High School for Social Justice, DOE Sustainability, and The Museum of Natural History.
We see this as an exciting opportunity to raise awareness around sustainability and justice and increase the number of engaging, experiential learning opportunities for teens.
