description: | Thursday, October 6th 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM LOCATION AT CMA CATEGORY SPECIAL EVENT AGE GROUPS AGES ALL AGES Join us between September 22nd and October 6th for a special installation in the Swirl Studio! Environmental Economist and Sustainability Strategist Pamela Peeters will unveil the pilot of the "Eco Hero Sanctuary" during "Climate Week NYC" at CMA. The project – a tent inspired by the great architect Buckminster Fuller – features many of the "Eco Hero" paintings she has collected since 2012 while teaching her "Eco Hero" curriculum in the USA, Kenya, Canada, Belgium and Bali! Each artwork is a vision for a Sustainable Planet featuring wishes for Mother Earth and give kids a voice in the Climate Change debate. A selection from Pamela's recent "ELEMENTS" series – representing the voice of Mother Earth – will be integrated in the installation as well. For a period of two weeks, visitors to CMA can enjoy the Eco Hero Sanctuary and take part in "Eco Hero" workshops on select dates (to be announced) during which they will contribute art to the international project, adding their message of love to the chain of connections. |
