Our featured speaker, Eric Sanderson, is a Senior Conservation Ecologist for the Wildlife Conservation Society at the Bronx Zoo and director of the Mannahatta Project. After a decade of research he authored Mannahatta: A Natural History of New York City in 2009. The Welikia Project goes beyond Mannahatta to encompass the entire city.
