EEAC is excited to be partnering with Rocking the Boat to bring a program centered on Environmental Justice.
Saturday, September 10, 2022, 11 am – 1:30 pm
During this program we will:
- Receive a tour and program overview of Rocking the Boat‘s Youth Development and Public Programs
- Engage in a facilitated discussion around Environmental Justice in New York City and how solutions to environmental injustices can be incorporated into Environmental Education
- Participate in rowboat rides on the Bronx River led by Rocking the Boat staff
- Learn more about how to get involved in EEAC!
Rocking the Boat is a non-profit youth. development organization committed to providing afterschool and summer programs for participants to develop pride, purpose, and possibility by learning unique, lifelong skills through building and rowing wooden rowboats, sailing, and restoration of the Bronx River.
