The Environmental Education Advisory Council (EEAC) of NYC, the Bronx Community College, and James Baldwin Outdoor Learning Center are excited to host the How Things Work Conference on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Bronx Community College. NYC middle and high school students and educators are invited to attend and learn about environmental systems through exhibits and activities. See attached flyer for more information.
EEAC will be organizing a ‘no-shame’ book group from February-April. Together we will be working through What If We Get It Right? by Ayana Elizabeth Johnson. This book is a series of interviews, essays, and poems that will allow us to speculate what a climate future might look, feel, and be like.
The Environmental Education Projects Forum, a program of the Environmental Education Advisory Council (EEAC), is a network of environmental educators and professionals working together to create and implement systemic projects to support environmental and sustainability education in formal and non-formal settings.
