The Science Council of NYC (SCONYC) is a coordinating group of nine science education organizations. These organizations service teachers in elementary, intermediate and high schools in the New York City area. The goals of SCONYC are to improve the quality of science instruction through multiple activities, including holding an annual conference and being a presence at educational events and meetings. Membership in SCONYC is limited to organizations only.
