Greetings!

On October 17, 2019, join us to introduce your students to the fast-growing field of environmental science jobs and the variety of career opportunities in a lab, in the field, at the office or in a classroom.

Trees New York is pleased to announce Green Horizons’ 24th New York City Conference on Careers in Natural Resources and the Environment for Middle Schools. Green Horizons is a FREE hands-on career day for middle school students 6th through 8th.

Your school is entitled to bring up to 15 students, under the leadership of the guidance counselor or science teacher. The event is on October 17, 2019, 9am – 2pm, at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden. There are approximately 20 stations this year, with each student participating in two stations of their choice. Topics and activities include arboriculture, horticulture, urban forestry, landscape architecture and air and water pollution investigation.
