Join the EEAC community for a virtual technology skill share session!
EEAC is excited to announce our first technology skill share! Join us to explore a variety of low cost and no cost resources to support remote environmental education programming.
We have all pivoted in such a short amount of time to engage audiences remotely and we hope by sharing skills we can head forward on more solid footing.

Forty-six people signed up for the January 14 workshop; 27 actually participated in the zoom meeting with 22 staying for most of the two hour session. The workshop began with a welcome from Environmental Education Advisory Council (EEAC) Chairperson River DiLeo and introductory statements from Forum Co-Chairs Mike Zamm and Dr. Mary Leou.

Join EEAC as we strategize for teaching climate change and civic engagement to students of all ages.
Join Your Colleagues To Build On The Work of TEEP I, II, III, and IV, now "The Forum" Workshop.
In September 2019, EEAC officially adopted a new organizational mission statement. This statement was developed by a small group of volunteers and EEAC members who engaged in year-long research and critical dialogue about the current field of environmental education in NYC. A new organizational direction emerged out of this process—one that would help EEAC to meet the evolving needs of NYC’s environmental education community.

TEACHER ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PREPARATION IV CONFERENCE
Twenty-seven environmental educators from universities, government agencies and non-profit organizations participated in Teacher Environmental Education Preparation IV (TEEP IV) Conference on December 12, 2019, at New York University.
