A virtual lunchtime session to discuss the role of standards in environmental education programs. Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Zoom.

In light of recent conversations on EEAC’s list-serv, a problem of practice has emerged discussing the role of learning standards in environmental education programs and materials.

Hear from guest speakers Greg Borman, Director of Science from NYC Department of Education, and Mallory Easton, Teaching and Curriculum Specialist Billion Oyster Project, to share perspectives from educators.

EEAC (Environmental Education Advisory Council) is excited to share exploring some NYC examples of partnership building in educational initiatives.

Take a moment to hear stories from the field about how partnerships have built organizational capacity to serve youth and communities in NYC. Walk away with strategies you can use to build partnerships for your organization or school.
