Green Horizons is a FREE “hands-on” career day for middle school students 6th through 8th graders. Each participating school is entitled to bring up to 15 students, under the leadership of the guidance counselor or science teacher. Each year in October, the event takes place at different locations. There are approximately 20 stations, with each participant involved in two stations. Topics include activities in arboriculture, horticulture, urban forestry, landscape architecture, and air and water pollution investigations.
